Ashta means cream, fragrant with both orange blossom and rose water.  It's filling of many of Lebanese desserts such as Atayif, knefeh, mafrokeh, znod set and mad b ashta. Recipes for Ashta varies, some use white bread to make it thick, some use semolina or corn starch and some use only milk and water without boiling the milk. Also, it can be made of whipping cream or half and half. This recipe made of milk, corn starch, sugar, whipping cream and powdered sugar.  Some of you mix everything together and bring it to boil.       Lebanese dessert-Atayef-قطايف عصافيري Atayef is arabic dessert we make in Ramadan. Atayef is made of dough filled of ashta. You can substitute the ashta with cheese, ground walnuts just add sugar and blossom water, groung coconut and add sugar and blossom water, or make it easy and sweet and filled with chocolate. Today i’ll be sharing my homemade easy Atayef  dough only,everyone can make it. Let’s get into it :) Lebanese Dessert-Atayef-قطايف عصافيري Surprise your family by making homemade atayef. Ingredients 2 cups all purpose flour 1 tbsp sugar 1/2 tbsp yeast 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp cornstarch 2 cups warm water 1/4 cup warm milk Direction In a medium biwl , mix the dry ingredients ( flour, sugar, yeast, salt, cornstarch),add the the warm water and mix well using whisker. Now add the milk and mix again. Chicken Shawarma Chicken Shawarma is a middle eastern dish. It can be served in pita pockets with garlic sauce ,onion, pickles and fries. Or, Shawarma Bowl(rice on the bottom and then chicken shawarma topped with pickled and garlic sauce.  Chicken shawarma is very easy to make and it's healthy. Do you always ask yourself how these restaurants make their shawarma? I think everybody can make it, it's super easy. You might need a specific grill . First, I made it with Hazelnut, Cocoa, Powdered Sugar (it was okay).
