Most of the Arabic desserts need syrup, like Kunafeh , Nammoura, Layali Lobnan, baklava, Atayef. 


It made of sugar, water, lemon juice, blossom and rose water.


I always make it ahead of time so this way I always have it ready in my refrigerator.


Lebanese or  Arabic desserts is not hard to make it's just a lot of steps you should do, and I'm here to make it easy for you.

A very easy syrup recipe, you need it for Arabic desserts. Who said you can't use it for pancakes, of course you can.

Ready in: 10 mins

Yields: about 1 1/4 cups











Ingredients:                                                                                                                              





  • 1 1/4 cups sugar

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp blossom water

  • 1 tsp rose water










Directions                                                                                                                                     




  1. In a small saucepan, add the sugar and water. turn the heat on high and let them boil.

  2. Add the lemon juice, blossom and rose water and bring them to boil again.

  3. Turn the heat on medium-low, and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes until thickness.


Refrigerate when cool!
