Seeded Olives Zaatar Savory Muffins
Seeded Olives Zaatar Savory Muffins
Here is a seeded Olives Zaatar Savory Muffins recipe. You only need one bowl! means no messy kitchen today, and fresh bread muffins from scratch.
These Seeded Olives Zaatar Savory Muffins are made of eggs, butter, olive oil, milk, pistachios, black seeds, flaxseeds, zaatar, olives, baking powder, salt and yogurt, topped with toasted sesame seeds.
You really can add whatever you would think of to this recipe, like dried tomatoes, cheese or some green like spinach.
Maybe you decide you want all butter instead of half olive oil half butter or maybe all olive oil, or even vegetable oil, whatever available works.
What is Za'atar?
Za'atar is a middle eastern spice blend, which contains the herb, dried crushed thyme, dried sumac, and salt. You can easily simply make it from scratch or you can find it at most Middle Eastern stores and even on amazon. here is my favorite brand I tried other than the homemade.

I love pistachios in Za'atar Blend. I still remember my mom used to toast the pistachios and sesame seeds, and crush the pistachios and add it to the Za'atar bowl with some fresh olive oil. YUM!
