Homemade pizza Sauce recipe is very easy to make, and the ingredients is very simple and you always have them in the refrigerator __Tomatoes, canned tomato sauce, onions, garlic, pepper, mushrooms, fresh or dry herbs and olive oil.
















The sauce is thick and rich in flavor . It definitely could be used for pastas or chicken, or maybe eggplant. 










What I love about homemade sauce is that taste fresher, garden fresh herbs, and fresh tomatoes, mushrooms and peppers. 


If you don't like peppers or mushrooms just don't add them. Also, you can add corn or olives (my mom does that) but I just like to sprinkle them freshly, because they are easy to cook and don't forget they will cook again in the oven. But remember everything works  and it's your choice and taste.










I love this seasoning especially for pizzas, it gives it even more flavor. You can skip this step since you're adding the fresh basil, oregano and thyme.
















If you are crazy about pizza you should make your own sauce, and you won't know the difference between the sauce you buy in jars or homemade pizza sauce unless you try to make it.





Yes, this recipe supposes to cook it, especially it has the pepper, onion and mushroom. But it is still super simple, easy and super delicious.


                                                                                                                                                             








Pizza Sauce Recipe



















Homemade pizza sauce recipe is flavorful and delicious, it will even change the flavor of your pizza. You'll love it, your kids will love it , and everybody will love it !





Ingredients                                                                     


  • 3 medium peeled tomatoes

  • 3 small peppers

  • 1 medium onion 

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 3 medium mushroom

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 2 cans tomato sauce

  • herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • salt & pepper



Direction                                                                          



  1. In a pan on medium/high heat. Finely chop the onion and slice the garlic, add olive oil to the pan, and take the onion and garlic right in the pan. cook it for about 2-3 minutes until the onion softens.

  2. Chop the peppers into small pieces and add to the pan. Cover the pan and let them cook for 2 minutes.

  3. Peel the tomatoes and finely chops them. Add them to pan and cover, cook until the juice from tomatoes evaporate about 10 to 15 minutes.

  4. Add the tomato sauce can, sugar, fresh herbs , Italian seasoning , water and salt & pepper. Cook them on high heat, Bring them to boil. Lower the heat and let them cook for another 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.



Note*: You can puree the sauce using hand blender


 if you like it super soft and no texture in it.
