Healthy Low Calories Granola
Granola is commonly eaten for breakfast or snack or maybe topper. It's very healthy,tasty and crunchy. I decided to make my own today but in low calories so I can enjoy it and eat it without feeling guilty.
It made from rolled oats, shredded coconuts, sliced almonds, chia seeds, sesame seeds, pancake syrup (lite) and olive oil.
Step by step recipe:
Combine oats-shredded coconut-almond-chia seeds-sesame seeds |
Add the pancake syrup and olive oil and mix using hand |
pour them into sheet pan |
bake them for 15 minutes, stir them. |
bake another 3-5 minutes |
Healthy Low Calories Granola
cook time:18 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp.. shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp.. sliced almonds
- 1 tsp. chia seeds
- 1 tsp. sesame seeds
- Dash of salt
- 5 tbsps. of pancake syrup (LITE)
- 1 tbsp. of olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, shredded coconut , sliced almonds , chia seeds, sesame seeds and salt.
- Add the pancake syrup and olive oil, stir well using hand.
- Pour them onto sheet pan.
- Cook for 15 minutes, stir after 15 minutes and bake for another 3-5 minutes to achieve an even color.
Note(it's not too sweet,if you like sweeter you can add 1 tbsp. of brown sugar or maybe more of pancake syrup )
