Healthy Chipotle Chicken Wrap Recipe






Chipotle Chicken Wrap is very delicious, healthy and satisfying. This recipe is extremely easy to make and it's perfect for meal prep.







 Chipotle or chipotle, which comes from the Nahunta word chilpoctli, is a smoke-dried jalapeno. it is a chili used primarily in Mexican.



I got a can of chipotle pepper and I thought i'm gonna use all of it, but I opened it and tried it and OMG! This is super hot. So, I ended up adding 1 tbsp. of the sauce, not the jalapeno though.












 Marinade the chicken with garlic, 1 tbsp. of chipotle pepper, salt and pepper for at least 2 hours. It really makes a difference to the flavor of the chicken, and also adds moisture. NO OIL. You're going to add oil to the pan and it's enough and you will still get the juiciest chicken. Don't worry.





I'm sure you're like me, you want to eat and eat and enjoy eating without feeling guilty. By dropping only 1 tbsp. of olive oil, you're decreasing almost 120 calories for the whole recipe. Then why not!! Try it.







I used the Flat-Out Flatbread , it's only 90 calories, it's so good and healthy.

Healthy Chipotle Chicken Wrap Recipe





Ingredients



  1. 1 chicken breast



  2. 1 tbsp. of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (only sauce)



  3. 2 crushed garlic



  4. salt



  5. black pepper



  6. 1 bell pepper (square shape)



  7. 1/2 onion finely sliced



  8. 1 tbsp. olive oil




For the wrap : Lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, mayonnaise





Method



  1. cut the chicken into thin pieces. In a medium bowl, add the crushed garlic, chipotle pepper, salt and pepper,, cover the bowl using plastic wrapper and let it marinate for at least 2 hours.



  2.  Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan, add the sliced onion and cook for 3-5 mins , then add the bell pepper and let it cook for 2 mins.



  3. Add the chicken to the  onion and pepper and cook 4-5 on high-medium heat on each side of the chicken until the chicken is cooked.



  4. Warm the wraps.



  5. Add the lettuce to the bread, spread mayonnaise on the lettuce. Add sliced tomatoes and avocado and finished with chicken, onion and bell pepper. Roll up wrap and slice in half.
